Abstract

The compounds of the formula (I) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 denotes (C.sub.1 -C.sub.3)alkyl and R.sup.2 denotes H, methyl or halogen, and salts thereof have excellent actions as plant growth regulators, in particular in rice crops.
