Abstract

Polyetherimide ester polymers exhibiting a high flexural modulus comprising the reaction products of: PA1 (i) at least one diol; PA1 (ii) at least one dicarboxylic acid or an ester forming reactive derivative thereof; and PA1 (iii) a set of reactants selected from PA2 (a) (1) at least one high molecular weight poly(oxy alkylene)diamine, and (2) at least one tricarboxylic acid or its derivative, or PA2 (b) at least one high molecular weight polyoxyalkylene diimide diacid; wherein the weight ratio of (iii) to (ii) is from about 0.002 to 0.20:1.
