Abstract
The present invention provides a novel multiphase drug delivery system which comprises: PA0 (a) lipid vesicles with a biologically active compound captured therein; PA0 (b) a saturated solution of the biologically active compound; and PA0 (c) the biologically active compound in solid form. Optionally this composition is dispersed in a hydrocolloid gel.
