Abstract
A fluorine-containing elastomeric electric insulating material is disclosed. The material is a vulcanized product of a composition comprising 100 parts by weight of a fluorine-containing elastomeric copolymer having a number average molecular weight of from 20,000 to 60,000, containing as major components a unit based on tetrafluoroethylene and a unit based on an .alpha.-olefin having 2 to 4 carbon atoms and exhibiting rubber elasticity at room temperature, 0.1 to 5 parts by weight of an organic peroxide and 0.1 to 20 parts by weight of a polyallyl compound.
