Abstract
Improvement in the parenteral administration of a carboxylic acid of the formula ##STR1## in which X is N, C--H or C--F, PA1 Z is O or Ch.sub.2, PA1 R.sub.1 is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl or .beta.-hydroxyethyl, PA1 R.sub.2 is cyclopropyl, 2-fluoroethyl or ethyl, PA1 R.sub.3 is hydrogen or methyl, and PA1 R.sub.4 is H or methyl, is achieved through the administration of the basic salt of the acid (I, II). Surprisingly the basic salts are suitable and stable.
