Abstract
A vinyl alcohol copolymer comprising the following general structure ##STR1## where R is hydrogen or methyl; PA1 R.sup.1 is a C.sub.6 -C.sub.18 hydrocarbyl group not containing an olefinic functionality; PA1 x is 70 to 99.5% mole %; PA1 y is 0 to 29.5 mole %; and PA1 z is 0.5 to 8 mole %.
