Abstract

6.alpha.,16.beta.-Dimethyl corticoids of general Formula I ##STR1## wherein the bond .sub.-------- is a single bond or a double bond, and PA1 X is a hydrogen atom, a fluorine atom, a chlorine atom, or a bromine atom, PA1 Z is a hydrogen atom or, jointly with X, is a carbon-carbon bond, PA1 R.sub.1 is a formyl group, an alkanoyl group or alkoxyalkyl group of 2-8 carbon atoms, or a benzoyl group, and PA1 Y is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, are pharmacologically active compounds.
