Abstract
Process for the carbonylation of olefins with CO in the presence of water, an alcohol and/or a carboxylic acid in the presence of a catalyst composition based on PA1 (a) a Pd compound, PA1 (b) a protonic acid, and PA1 (c) a phosphine PR.sup.1 R.sup.2 R.sup.3 in which R.sup.1 is a heterocyclic ring having 5-6 atoms and containing .gtoreq.1 hetero N atom and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are R.sup.1 or an aryl group.
