Abstract
A mower including a frame supporting, by means of connecting members, one or more rotary cutting elements equipped with cutting tools and surmounted by a rotary drum which is equipped with a casing. At least a part of the connecting members penetrate into the rotary drum. A device for drive the cutting element and the rotary drum includes a shaft and a hub connected in rotation to the shaft. The cutting element and the rotary drum are fastened to the hub, and the shaft and the hub extend partly at least into the rotary drum. The part of the connecting members penetrating into the rotary drum is connected to the shaft of the cutting element. The casing of the the rotary drum is formed by standards separated from one another by spaces and connected together at their lower part by a lower connecting element and at their upper part by an upper connecting element.
