Abstract

The invention relates to 1,2-dialkoxyalkenes of the formula ##STR1## in which R denotes an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and PA1 n denotes an integer from 2 to 8 and to the use of 1,2-dialkoxyalkanes and -alkenes of the formula ##STR2## in which R denotes an alkyl group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, PA2 n denotes an integer from 2 to 8, and ##STR3## denotes the CH.sub.3 --CH.sub.2 -- or CH.sub.2 50 CH-- group, as scents.
