Abstract

The invention relates to a new material in thermoplastic resin. The new laminated material with a basis of thermoplastic resin according to the invention is characterized in that it is in the form of a skin with at least one smooth face (1a), and having at least one dense and compact layer of thermoplastic resin, which layer is free from any gaseous trapping, and a fibrous layer (1b) formed of thermoplastic resin fibers and being an integral part of the compact layer. The invention finds an application in the production of wall coverings and panels.
