Abstract
An anticancer agent extracted and isolated from chlorella is disclosed. This anticancer agent is a kind of glycoprotein having an average molecular weight of 4.5.times.10.sup.4, of which protein moiety consists of .alpha.-helix and random coil, sugar moiety consists of .beta.-polysaccharide, and circulor dichroism spectrum has a positive peak at 275 nm.
