Abstract
The iron baseplate (1) has an enamel coating (8) on its surface (7) intended to be applied to the articles for ironing. This enamel coating (8) provides inter alia an improved coefficient of friction between the baseplate and the textile articles for ironing. Use inter alia in steam irons.
