Abstract
The tactile properties of virucidal tissue products containing carboxylic acids are improved by the incorporation of a water-soluble humectant, such as polyethylene glycol. The product is made by blending a water-soluble humectant with a carboxylic acid-containing virucidal composition at a temperature of from about 100.degree. C. to about 150.degree. C. to solubilize the blend, and applying the solubilized blend to the surface of a cellulosic web.
