Abstract

Substituted furazans of the formula ##STR1## in which R and R.sup.1 are identical or different and represent optionally substituted aromatic or heteroaromatic radicals, PA1 R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, an OH or COOH grouping or an optionally substituted radical from the series comprising alkyl, alkoxy, cycloalkyl, cycloalkenyl, alkoxycarbonyl, alkoxythiocarbonyl, alkylsulphonyl, arylsulphonyl and aralkyl, PA1 Y represents oxygen or an S(O).sub.m, --CR.sup.3 R.sup.4, CO or NR.sup.5 grouping, in which PA1 m represents the number 0, 1 or 2 and PA1 R.sup.3, R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are identical or different and PA1 represent hydrogen or alkyl, PA1 n represents the number 0 or 1 and PA1 x represents oxygen or sulphur, and wherein, if PA1 R represents phenyl, PA1 R.sup.1 represents phenyl, PA1 R.sup.2 represents hydrogen and PA1 x represents oxygen or sulphur, then PA1 n represents the number 1, or if PA1 n represents the number 0, PA1 R represents 4-bromophenyl, PA1 R.sup.1 represents 4-chlorophenyl and PA1 R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, then PA1 X represents sulphur, which possess pesticidal activity.
