Abstract

2,5-Dimethylpyrrole derivatives of the formula I ##STR1## in which R denotes alkyl which is substituted by --NH.sub.2, acylamino of the formula EQU --NH--CX--R.sup.1 or by an optionally substituted heterocycle having 1 hetero member; or denotes an optionally substituted heterocycle having 1 member, and X and R.sup.1 have the meanings given and their pharmacologically acceptable acid addition salts, their preparation by reaction of amines of the formula II EQU R--NH.sub.2 (II) with acetonylacetone or by acylating N-aminoalkyl-2,5-dimethylpyrroles, and their use as pharmaceutical active compounds.
