Abstract
A fibre-reactive dye of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1-14 -alkyl, C.sub.1-4 -alkoxy, nitro or carboxyl; PA1 X.sub.2 is hydrogen, vinylsulfonyl, .beta.-chloroethylsulfonyl, .beta.-sulfatoethylsulfonyl, .beta.-acetoxyethylsulfonyl or a radical of the formula EQU Cl--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --SO.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CO--NH-- or EQU Cl--CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --SO.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --NH--CO--; PA1 n is 1 to 3; PA1 R.sub.2 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy; R.sub.3 is hydrogen C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkoxy, acetylamino, sulfoacetylamino, ureido or sulfo; and PA1 X.sub.1 is a radical of the formula ##STR2## in which Z is the radical of an amine comprising a vinylsulfonyl moiety, subject to the proviso that Z must not be a vinylsulfonylphenylamino or vinylsulfonylnaphtylamino moiety. These dyes are useful for dyeing and printing a wide variety of materials, and in particular cellulose-containing fibre materials.
