Abstract
Thiazolidines of formula I ##STR1## wherein R is H, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, allyl or propargyl; PA0 X is O, CH.sub.2, S; PA0 R.sub.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -linear or branched alkyl, phenyl, benzyl, or a group of formula CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O--(CH.sub.2 --CH.sub.2 --O).sub.n --Ra wherein n is zero or an integer from 1 to 3 and Ra is H, benzyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -linear or branched alkyl. Compounds I are endowed with favourable therapeutical properties for pathologies of the respiratory system.
