Abstract

Polymer dihydroxy compounds corresponding to the following formula ##STR1## in which EQU R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 =H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, EQU R.sup.4 =H or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, EQU R.sup.5 =--C.sub.6 H.sub.5, --C.sub.6 H.sub.4 CH.sub.3, --CH.dbd.CH.sub.2, or --CO.sub.2 R.sup.7, EQU R.sup.6 =C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, aryl, or H, EQU R.sup.7 =C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, EQU m=0 or 1, EQU n=5 to 100, EQU q=0 or 1, a process for their production and their use in thermoplastic molding compositions.
