Abstract
A liquid cleansing composition, for use as a hard surface cleaner, comprises PA1 (A) a base liquid composition comprising PA2 (a) a base composition comprising: PA3 (1) an anionic surfactant, PA3 (2) a nonionic surfactant, PA3 (3) a non-polar grease-removal solvent, PA3 (4) a water-soluble detergent builder salt, PA3 (5) optionally, a perfume, and PA3 (6) optionally, a dye; and PA2 (b) water; and PA1 (B) an abrasive. The liquid cleansing composition is in the form of a liquid crystalline material of the smectic type. A method of making the liquid cleansing composition comprises sequential addition of the various ingredients.
