Abstract
A synthetic lubricating fluid comprising: PA1 (i) an ester or its derivative of cyclohexanol and cyclohexanecarboxylic acid represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, and R.sub.3 are independently selected from hydrogen and alkyl groups containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and PA1 (ii) from 1 to 70% by weight of a branched poly-.alpha.-olefin.
