Abstract
The present invention relates to novel compounds of the general formula (I), ##STR1## wherein R stands for hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1-4 alkyl, C.sub.1-4 alkoxy or a C.sub.1-4 acylamino group; and PA1 R.sup.1 is hydrogen or a carboxyl-protective group or E and/or Z configuration as well as their salts. The compounds according to the invention show a cytoprotecive effect and in addition, a valuable anti-inflammatory action. Their toxicity is low.
