Abstract
The present invention relates, by way of novel industrial products, to PA1 (i) 4-aryl-1-nicotinoylpiperazines of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which can be identical or different, each represent the hydrogen atom, a halogen atom (especially F, Cl or Br) or a CF.sub.3, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy or C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -acyl group; and PA1 (ii) addition salts thereof. These products are useful in therapy as anticonvulsants.
