Abstract

Process for the preparation of compounds containing a triazole and tetrahydrofuran group, and new compounds capable of being employed for the preparation of the said compounds. The invention relates to a process for the preparation of 2-(1-triazolyl)methyl-2-(m-, p-dichlorophenyl)-5-OR.sub.1 -tetrahydrofuran compounds, R.sub.1 being a lower alkyl radical, substituted if desired, by means of the following stages: PA0 (a) isomerization of the compound of formula: PA1 (m-, p-diCl)Ph--C(OH)(CH.sub.2 Cl)--CH.dbd.CH--CH.sub.2 --OR.sub.1 PA0 (b) grafting of a traizole ring onto the compound obtained, of formula: PA1 (m-, p-diCl)Ph--C(OH)(CH.sub.2 Cl)--CH.dbd.CH--CH.sub.2 --OR.sub.1 PA0 (c) cyclization of the compound obtained in (b).
