Abstract
A traction fluid comprising a diester or its derivative represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein: A40 is an ester linkage of --COO-- or --OOC--; PA0 n is an integer of 1 to 6; PA0 R.sub.1 is independently selected from hydrogen and alkyl groups containing 1 to 8 carbon atoms; and PA0 R.sub.2 is independently selected from alkyl groups containing from 1 to 3 carbon atoms.
