Abstract
The production of high impact strength molding compositions obtained by thermal treatment of synthetic resin mixtures containing predominantly polyalkylene terephthalate, in the solid form, characterized in that the synthetic resin mixture contains PA0 A. 70-95% or 60-97% by weight of polyalkylene terephthalate and PA0 B. when A is 70-95%, 5-30% by weight of a conventional, elasticizing acrylate graft copolymer, a conventional .alpha.-olefin copolymer or a conventional polyether amide, or when A is 60-97%, 3-40% of a conventional polyether ester amide, PA0 and that the synthetic resin mixture is treated at temperatures of 15.degree.-60.degree. C. below the melting point of the pure component A in an inert gas atmosphere.
