Abstract
Water-soluble azo compounds having useful fiber-reactive dye properties conforming to the general formula ##STR1## in which: A is phenylene which may be substituted by lower alkoxy, lower alkyl, chlorine, sulfo and carboxy, or is a radical of the formula ##STR2## in which W is a direct bond or a radical of the formula --CH.dbd.CH-- or --NH--CO--NH-- and R* denotes hydrogen, nitro, sulfo, carboxy, methyl, ethyl, methoxy or ethoxy; PA1 n is the number zero or 1; PA1 B is a radical of the formula ##STR3## where R is equal to carboxy or carbamoyl; M is hydrogen or an alkali metal; PA1 K is a radical of the formula ##STR4## in which D is phenylene which may be substituted by chlorine, bromine, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, carboxy and sulfo, or unsubstituted or sulfo substituted naphthylene; PA1 R.sup.1 is hydrogen, chlorine, lower alkyl or lower alkoxy; PA1 R.sup.2 is hydrogen or lower alkyl; PA1 G is carboxy, methyl or lower carbalkoxy; PA1 Y is vinyl, .beta.-sulfatoethyl or .beta.-chloroethyl; PA1 m is the number zero or 1; PA1 Z is .alpha.- or .beta.-bromacryloyl or .beta.-chloropropionyl, .beta.-chloroethylsulfonylbenzoyl or (.beta.-chloroethylsulfonylmethyl)-benzoyl or a radical of t…
