Abstract

An apparatus is disclosed on the basis whereof the image cylinders seated in cantilevered fashion in drum scanners can be mounted in the scanner in a short time running centrally regardless of the dexterity of the operator. This thus enables the preparation of the image cylinders (application of the images, etc.) outside of the apparatus, this leading to short standstill times of the scanner.
