Abstract
A high oxidotion resistance Fe-Cr-Al alloy stainless steel foil suitable for forming catalytic converters, specifically for forming automotive catalytic converters. The alloy includes: PA1 C: less than or equal to 0.02 Wt %; PA1 Si: less than or equal to 1.0 Wt %; PA1 Cr: in a range greater than or equal to 14 Wt % to less than or equal to 27 Wt %; PA1 Al: in a range greater than or equal to 3.5 Wt % to less than or equal to 6.5 Wt %; PA1 La: in a range greater than 0.05 Wt % and less than or equal to 0.20 Wt %; PA1 Ce: less than or equal to 0.01 Wt % and the remainder being composed of Fe and inevitable impurities, the foil having a thickness less than or equal to 80 .mu.m.
