Abstract
Basecoating compositions for preparing multilayered protective and/or decorative coatings comprise aqueous dispersions which contain PA1 (a) as film-forming material one or more polyurethane resins having an acid number of from 5 to 70, which has been prepared by preparing from PA2 (A) liner polyetherdiols and/or polyesterdiols having a molecular weight of from 400 to 3,000 PA2 (B) diisocyanates and PA2 (C) compounds which contain two groups which are reactive toward isocyanate groups, one or more of the compounds used as component C having one or more groups capable of anion formation which have preferably been neutralized before the reaction with a tertiary amine, PA1 an intermediate which as terminal isocyanate groups and whose free isocyanate groups have subsequently been reacted with a polyol which contains three or more hydroxyl groups, preferably a triol, PA1 (b) pigments and PA1 (c) further customary additives.
