Abstract
A pharmaceutical formulation having a synergistic anti-bacterial activity and comprising PA1 (a) a cephalosporin derivative or a physiologically acceptable salt or ester thereof and PA1 (b) a penem antibiotic of the basic structure (B) ##STR1## or a physiologically acceptable salt or ester thereof, a process for preparing such a formulation and its use for the treatment of bacterial infections.
