Abstract

Agents for influencing plant growth, containing as active ingredient an azolylacetophenone oxime ether of the formula ##STR1## where R and R.sup.1 independently of one another are each hydrogen, halogen, alkyl, cycloakyl, alkoxy, alkylthio, alkylsulfonyl, haloalkyl, nitro, cyano, phenyl or phenoxy, R.sup.2 is hydrogen, alkyl, aralkyl, allyl or propargyl, R.sup.3 is a divalent radical of the formula --(CH.sub.2).sub.m --, --(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O--).sub.u CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --, --(CH.sub.2).sub.v CH.dbd.CH--(CH.sub.2).sub.t -- or --(CH.sub.2).sub.v --C.tbd.C--(CH.sub.2).sub.t --, n, p, u, v and t independently of one another are each 1, 2 or 3, m is an integer from 2 to 10, and Az is 1,2,4-triazol-1-yl, pyrazol-1-yl or imidazol-1-yl, or a salt or metal complex thereof, and a method of influencing plant growth or of destroying unwanted plants with these active ingredients.
