Abstract

Actuator for locking device of doors and trunks of automobiles comprising a rotating member that is rotated by a power source; a cam groove formed in the rotating member; a cam follower that moves along the cam groove; and PA1 a displacement member which moves between a first position and a second position as a result of the movement of the cam follower. If the cam follower should stop in a communicating groove, the disk can be rotated by a small motor or the cam follower can be operated normally under circumstances when the motor fails.
