Abstract

Pharmacologically useful N-substituted-N-nitrosoaminoacetonitriles of the general formula I ##STR1## wherein A denotes the radical --CH.sub.2 --, --O--, --S(O.sub.n)--, --N(R.sup.2)-- or a direct bond, PA0 R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 denote alkyl having 1 to 4 c atoms or phenylalkyl having 1 to 4 C atoms in the alkyl radical, PA0 n denotes the number 0, 1 or 2, are prepared, for example, by nitrosylation of compounds of the general formula II ##STR2##
