Abstract

Crystallized semiaromatic copolyamides having glass transition temperatures, Tg, greater than 142.degree. C., melting points, Tm, less than 290.degree. C. and improved thermomechanical properties, well adopted for the production of a wide variety of useful shaped articles, contain specified amounts of terephthalic acid, 2-methylpentamethylenediamine and hindered aromatic diamine recurring structural units.
