Abstract
New lubricating greases, the oily component of which is perfluoropolyether or fluoropolyether derivative of formula R--O--Q--CFX--(Y).sub.n --Z, having a number average molecular weight ranging from 1,500 to 10,000. wherein PA1 R is perfluoroalkyl radical R.sub.F or Z(Y).sub.n)--CFX; PA1 Q is perfluoroalkylpolyether or fluoroalkylpolyether chain; PA1 X is F or CF.sub.3 ; PA1 Y is a linking divalent radical; PA1 n is zero or 1; and PA1 Z is a radical selected from --CH.sub.2 OH, --CH.sub.2 OR.sup.1, --COOR.sup.2, --CONR.sup.3 R.sup.4 etc. . . . or from particular radicals containing heteroatoms or particular aromatic radicals.
