Abstract
Compounds having the structure ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl; PA0 R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are each independently halogen or trihalomethyl; and PA0 R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are halogen, cyano or nitro; are disclosed which have herbicidal activity. Herbicidal compositions comprising the compounds and a carrier are also disclosed, as are methods for controlling the growth of undesirable plants utilizing the compounds. Methods for the preparation of such compounds are also disclosed.
