Abstract
The invention relates to new aryloxy phenoxy acyl malonates of the Formula I ##STR1## a process for the preparation thereof and herbicidal compositions comprising the same. In the Formula I PA0 R.sup.1 stands for hydrogen, halogen, trifluoromethyl, trifluoromethoxy or cyano; PA0 R.sup.2 represents hydrogen, halogen, or methyl; and PA0 R.sup.3 is C.sub.1-4 alkyl, and the R.sup.3 substitutents may be the same or different, PA0 X stands for --N.dbd. or --CH.dbd. and PA0 n is 0 or 1. The new compound of the Formula I possess valuable herbicidal properties.
