Abstract
The object of the invention is a new cephem compound with antimicrobial activity used for the treatment of infectious diseases of the general formula: ##STR1## wherein R1 is amino or a protected amino PA0 R2 is lower alkyl which may have 1 to 3 halogens PA0 R3 is COO.sup..crclbar., carboxy or a protected carboxy PA0 R4 is hydroxy(lower)alkyl or protected hydroxy(lower)alkyl PA0 R5 is amino or a protected amino PA0 R6 is hydrogen or lower alkyl PA0 X.sup..crclbar. is an anion, and PA0 n is 0 or 1 with proviso that PA0 (i) when R3 is COO.sup..crclbar., then n is 0, and PA0 (ii) when R3 is carboxy or a protected carboxy, then n is 1, and pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof.
