Abstract

Lacquer binders suitable for the production of highly heat-resistant films and coatings consisting of a mixture of PA1 (a) polyamide-imides based on trimellitic anhydride, lactams and diisocyanates, PA1 (b) organic compounds carrying (i) carbodiimide and/or uretone imine groups and (ii) blocked isocyanate groups and optionally, PA1 (c) auxiliaries and additives. The use of these binders in coating compositions for heat-resistant substrates and a process for the production of wire enamels using said coating compositions.
