Abstract
The present invention relates to .beta.-D-phenylthioxyloside compounds selected from the group consisting of: PA0 (i) the .beta.-D-phenylthioxylosides of the formula: ##STR1## in which: R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which can be identical or different, which represent a hydrogen atom or a trifluoromethy or cyano group, PA1 A represents CHOH or CO and PA1 Y represents a hydrogen atom or an acyl group; and PA0 (ii) epimers thereof when A is CHOH. The said .beta.-D-phenylthioxyloside compounds are useful in therapy as antithrombotics.
