Abstract

Dyes suitable for dyeing a wide range of textile and non-textile materials, in particular for dyeing leather and pelts, having, in the form of the free acid, the formula ##STR1## wherein D.sub.1 and D.sub.2 are each independently of the other the radical of a diazo component of the benzene or naphthalene series which carries a hydroxy or carboxy in ortho-position to the azo group and which may or may not be further substituted, PA0 K is the radical of a coupling component of the benzene or naphthalene series or of the heterocyclic series which carries the group X in ortho-position to the azo group and which may or may not be further substituted, PA0 Me is chromium or cobalt, PA0 Q is an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl or naphthyl radical or an unsubstituted or substituted aromatic-heterocyclic radical, PA0 R.sub.1 is unsubstituted or substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or unsubstituted or substituted phenyl, PA0 R.sub.2 is hydrogen or independently has the meaning of R.sub.1, X is --O-- or --NR.sub.3, PA0 R.sub.3 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 alkyl, and PA0 p and q are each independently of the other 0 or 1.
