Abstract

Additives for n-paraffin-containing lubricating oils, which additives are mixtures of acrylates containing PA0 (I) from 10 to 99 weight percent of polymers P.sub.1 composed of PA1 (a) esters of methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid and linear C.sub.6 to C.sub.15 alcohols; PA1 (b) esters of methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid and linear C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 alcohols; PA1 (c) esters of methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid and branched C.sub.8 to C.sub.40 alcohols; PA1 (d) esters of methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid and C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alcohols; and PA1 (e) monomers having functional groups, the amount of (b) being at the most 5 mol percent; and PA0 (II) from 90 to 1 weight percent of polymers P.sub.2 composed of PA1 (a') esters of methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid and linear C.sub.6 to C.sub.15 alcohols; PA1 (b') esters of methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid and linear C.sub.16 to C.sub.30 alcohols; PA1 (c') esters of methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid and branched C.sub.8 to C.sub.40 alcohols; PA1 (d') esters of methacrylic acid and/or acrylic acid and C.sub.1 to C.sub.5 alcohols; and PA1 (e') monomers having functional groups, the amount of (b') being between 10 and 70 …
