Abstract

A compound represented by the following formula ##STR1## wherein X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 are identical or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a halogen atom, a trifluoromethyl group or a trifluoromethoxy group; PA0 Y.sup.1 and Y.sup.2 are identical or different and each represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a lower alkylthio group, a cyano group, a nitro group, a halogen atom or a trifluoromethyl group; PA0 Z represents an oxygen or sulfur atom; and PA0 n is 0 or 1; PA0 excepting the case where n is 0 and X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 are both hydrogen atoms, the case where n is 1 and X.sup.1 and X.sup.2 are members selected from the class consisting of hydrogen and halogen (excepting iodine) atoms, and the case where Y.sup.1 and Y.sup.2 are membrs selected from the class consisting of hydrogen and halogen (excepting iodine) atoms and nitro groups. This compound is useful as an insecticidal and acaricidal (miticidal) agent.
