Abstract
Compounds of the general formula ##STR1## wherein n is from 1 to 6 and each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represents an alkyl group of 1 to 4 carbon atoms and their acid addition salts are useful for thickening mucus, especially gastro-intestinal mucus as an anti-ulceration treatment or cervical mucus in contraception.
