Abstract

Process for the coloring of thermoplastics in the mass, characterized in that dyestuffs of the formula ##STR1## are used in which X denotes H, alkyl, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, cycloalkyl, preferably C.sub.5 -C.sub.6 -cycloalkyl, CF.sub.3, halogen, preferably F, Cl, Br, PA1 Y denotes H, alkyl, preferably C.sub.1 -Chd 6-alkyl, in particular CH.sub.3, halogen, preferably F, Cl, Br, PA1 R.sup.1 denotes alkyl, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.4 -alkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, phenyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted in the phenyl radical, for example by CH.sub.3, Cl or Br, PA1 R.sup.2 denotes alkyl, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, alkoxyalkyl, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkoxy-C.sub.2 -C.sub.4 -alkyl, phenyl-C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl which is unsubstituted or substituted in the phenyl radical, for example by CH.sub.3, Cl, Br, and PA1 R.sup.3 denotes H, alkyl, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 -alkyl, in particular CH.sub.3.
