Abstract

It is possible with the aid of a .gamma.-glutamyltranspeptidase, which can be prepared by fermentation, to hydrolyze adipinyl- or glutaryl-monoamino compounds, in particular .alpha.-keto-adipinyl- or glutaryl-7-aminocephalosporanic acid.
