Abstract
5-alkoxymethyl-2'-deoxycytidines, particularly 5-methoxymethyl-2'-deoxycytidine, are useful in the treatment of infections caused by Herpes simplex virus and the treatment of neoplasms in which Herpes simplex virus is implicated.
