Abstract
Enhanced knitting performance for fine denier polyamide apparel yarn is obtaining by applying to the yarn a finish composition comprising PA0 (a) an ester selected from the group consisting of n-butyl stearate, iso-butyl stearate and combinations thereof, said ester being present in an effective amount to provide enhanced knitting performance for said yarn; PA0 (b) a polyethylene glycol ester; PA0 (c) a polyethylene glycol ether; PA0 (d) a polyethylene glycol glyceride; PA0 (e) an alkyl phosphate; and PA0 (f) a sulfonated ester.
