Abstract
A dielectric ceramic composition consisting essentially of barium oxide, titanium oxide, neodymium oxide and gadolinium oxide and which is expressed by the formula: EQU aBaO-bTiO.sub.2 -c[(1-X)Nd.sub.2 O.sub.3 -XGd.sub.2 O.sub.3 ] wherein, 0.10.ltoreq.a.ltoreq.0.20, 0.65.ltoreq.b.ltoreq.0.75, 0.10.ltoreq.c.ltoreq.0.20, a+b+c=1 (a, b, and c are mole fractions), and O<X.ltoreq.0.4 (X is a mole fraction of Gd.sub.2 O.sub.3 based on the total amount of Nd.sub.2 O.sub.3 and Gd.sub.2 O.sub.3). Al.sub.2 O.sub.3 may be added in an amount of not more than 4 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the dielectric ceramic composition.
